The leaves have changed and the long summer days a thing of the past - indeed Winter is upon us and with it comes not only comes changes to our wardrobe but our skin care regime too.
Your beautiful skin needs extra care and treatment during this season as it is exposed to the harsh conditions of the season. Icy temperatures, bitter wind and dry heated rooms are all enemy number one to fresh-looking and supple skin. |
The skin is much more sensitive to cold conditions. Blood vessels shrink in low temperatures and the skin becomes pale, dry and sluggish with a limited supply of nutrients and oxygen delivered to the surface by blood flow. Dry air from heaters robs the skin of precious moisture and leaves your skin more vulnerable to wrinkles and fine lines.
